Smoky Night

This is the story of a street riot, seen through a young boy's eyes. Because of the danger the boy, Daniel, and his mother are forced to flee from their home and retreat to a shelter. While there Daniel and his mother realize that they should get to know their neighbors--and not let their differences, racial and otherwise, shut them off from each other.
